Good as Gold

Written by Joseph Heller
Published in 1976.

Funny. It is a minor book though, when compared to Catch-22. About the Jewish experience in America and a satire of Washington, it speaks to the racism and anti-Semitism of America in the 70s. Heller's talent for absurdities and paradoxes shines in this novel too. It was probably the best thing about it.
