About life in the slums of Bombay. It was a good movie and had all the makings of a commercial success: a bittersweet love-story, a rags-to-riches angle, the mafia and a bit of glamour. Great that it got the word out about the slums to such a large audience but the final word on slums is still with Mira Nair's Salaam Bombay!
